Walking support
Standby or hands-on support while walking indoors, outdoors or to appointments.
Repositioning
Helping clients change position in bed or a chair to stay comfortable through the day.
Fall prevention habits
Clearing walkways, keeping essentials within reach, and watching for changes we should flag to the family.
Where mobility support makes the biggest difference
Most falls happen at home during ordinary moments. Our caregivers focus on the rooms and transitions where support matters most.
Safe transfers in and out of bed, a clear path to the washroom at night, and the walker parked within reach.
Steady support getting on and off the toilet and in and out of the tub or shower.
Help in and out of chairs, cords and rugs kept out of walkways, and daily essentials at waist height.
Support on steps and doorways, and a steady arm on walks around the block or to appointments.
Our caregivers provide non-medical support. If a physiotherapist or occupational therapist has given instructions, we follow them.
Who we support with mobility assistance
- People recovering strength after a hospital stay
- Seniors who have had a fall or a near miss
- Clients who use a walker, cane or wheelchair
- People recovering from a motor vehicle injury
